Our compact Portable Seat ships fully assembled, so it takes just moments to transform a chair in your home, a restaurant or at grandma’s place into a high chair for your child.
It fits about 80% of N.American dining chairs. Please make sure it will fit your chair using the fitting guide below.
1 - The measurement across the top of the chair needs to be greater than 13.5".
2 - The distance from the chair's seat to the top of its back must be between 12" and 19". In all cases, the thickness of the back can't exceed 1.5".
1 - Determine where the HandySitt will be attaching to the chair (connection points). These points are 6” either side of the middle of the chair's back.
2 - Measure from the chair's seat to these connection points. This distance must measure between 12" and 19".
1 - Measure the distance between the 2 ladder back uprights. It needs to be greater than 12".
2 - Determine the connection points. The top rung is often too high for the HandySitt so a lower rung can be used. The space between rungs must be at least 3" in order to fit the arm hooks through.
3 - Measure from the chair's seat to the most suitable rung. This must measure between 12" and 19".
The minui HandySitt Chair and Portable Seat combine to form a great looking wooden high chair for the home. Here’s how they ingeniously connect and disconnect.

Powerful magnets hidden in the wood of the Chair connect to the metal arms of the Portable Seat. To engage, the seat is just dropped into place. To disengage, grip an upright on the Chair with one hand, and with the other pull firmly (up and towards the front of the high chair) on the hook of the Portable Seat.
The video below demonstrates how this works.

Small metal clips at the front of the Chair flip up to secure the feet of the Portable Seat. When using the Chair on its own, they can be flipped down and out of the way.
Flat packed to optimize shipping costs, the minui HandySitt Chair takes about 25 minutes to assemble.
