The minui HandySitt seating system for kids 7 months — 5 years old is made up of two separately sold parts. When combined, the minui HandySitt Chair and Portable Seat form a freestanding high chair. When detached, the Chair is a seat for older kids and a sturdy step stool, and the Portable Seat is ideal for taking to restaurants or grandma’s house.

A Chair for older kids
Without the Portable Seat attached, the wooden Chair is the same height as an adult chair. Use it beyond the baby years as a chair for older kids and adults.
A Stepstool
Tested for up to 350lbs, it’s a solid stepstool for kids when helping mom make cookies at the kitchen counter, or for adults needing to reach an upper cabinet.
Fewer stubbed toes
With a more compact footprint than most high chairs, it’s less likely to get in the way of your feet while clearing plates. Slide it under your table when not in use, just like a normal chair. It measures just 15" x 21" at the base.
Ditch the booster seat
Because it’s a versatile wooden high chair and more, you’ll use it beyond the toddler years. Not many other high chairs can make that claim, and as your children grow, you won’t need to buy a high chair, then a booster seat, then a chair… That’s a solid investment.

The top part, our Portable Seat folds flat so it’s easy to store or travel with. Hide it in a closet or car trunk, hang it on a wall, or stuff it in a suitcase. Folded, it measures 21.5″ × 3.5″ × 12.5″, and at 5lbs is the world’s most compact high chair.

The Portable Seat, sold in Europe for 20 years, transforms most chairs into high chairs. Its adjustable steel arms extend to hook over different chair backs.

Adjustable footrest
The top step can be adjusted to an optimal footrest height for your child. It can be slid in and out of the slots without tools.
Connects with magnets
The Portable Seat’s feet slide into pop-up hinges on the Chair. A hidden magnetic system then powerfully connects the steel arms of the Portable Seat to the Chair. A twist and pull separates them.
Extendable arms
Steel arms on the Portable Seat slide and adjust to fit different adult chairs. Once the arms are correctly extended, they can be tightened by hand.
Eco-friendly good looks
The wooden high chair is made with FSC-certified solid Birch cut from sustainable forests in the European Baltics. Steel, BPA and phthalate-free plastic components, and water-based and formaldehyde-free varnishes are also used.

The minui HandySitt has been tested in accordance with the most recent European safety standard for high chairs: EN-14988:2006. The internationally recognized testing and certification institute TÜV audits minui’s production and warehouse facilities on an ongoing basis.

Rather than sit apart from the family in a chair with a tray, the minui HandySitt brings your child up to the table with you. Research tells us that sitting together with the family at mealtime is an ideal place for language and social skill development.
